Budgeting for Interior Design

The dollar amount you budget for the interior design of your space is contingent upon your location, clientele, finish types, quality of materials used and the design details unique to your environment.
Your designer will be able to help you with these details. We have provided a check list to get you started. However we do also suggest you read all of our topic on design.

Use this check list to determine if you accounted for most of your decorative needs. This check list is based on the hospitality industry including retail store design, restaurant design, nightclub design and hotel design but it can be altered for all types of Interior Design.

This list is to help you get started. We recommend you consult with a professional. Interior Designers can help you save money by taking advantage of their planning, design and construction experience.
Design is a business just like running a restaurant, nightclub or other hospitality organization.
Entering into a renovation project without adequate knowledge can be very costly.

**Many people underestimate the cost of chairs. Chairs can range for $150.00 to $600.00. This range is based on quality. In a hospitality setting chairs will get a lot of abuse. There are two philosophies, one buy an inexpensive chair and expect to replace the chair frequently or buy a more expensive chair and it will last for years. The first options requires less upfront cash where the later is usually a better buy for your dollar and stress.
